That was a message from Manitoba Chambers President Chuck Davidson when he met on Zoom with members of the Flin Flon and District Chamber of Commerce Tuesday.  He stated we need to continue to support

shopping local and it’s not just retail and it’s not just restaurants it’s everything local noting how do we support the local mentality with people throughout Manitoba, how do we get people in those businesses that have done okay to look for supply chains, to look at how they procure various elements, is there a local element that can be taken into consideration.

Davidson added to ensure local businesses have the support they need to continue to move forward as they come out of COVID restrictions the Manitoba Chambers has distributed grants provided by the provincial government to the province’s Chambers to help local businesses with shop local components and will continue to do that.
