The Manitoba Test Positivity Rate And The Saskatchewan Daily Average Have Both Dropped.

Manitoba public health reported 90 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the five day test positivity rate to 4.9 percent.  They also reported three additional deaths with two in Winnipeg and one in Southern health region.  Of the new cases 43 are in the Northern health region, 23 in Winnipeg and 13 in Interlake Eastern with single digits in other regions. Of the total 30,507 reported cases 1582 are active, 28,063 individuals have recovered and 244 are in hospital with 32 in intensive care.  An outbreak has been declared at the Grass Roots Early Learning and Child Care Centre in Thompson which has been moved to the critical or red level.

             

Meanwhile Saskatchewan health reports 114 new cases bringing the seven day average of daily new cases to 182.  They reported no new deaths.  Of the total 25,957 reported cases 1935 are considered active, 23,694 individuals have recovered and 187 are in hospital with 24 in intensive care.  Just over 46 thousand vaccines have been administered in the province.
