Manitoba is Moving Forward With the Next Step in Opening Up the Economy.

Manitoba Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin  says the province can move forward cautiously with changes in public health orders including restaurants and licensed premises to open at 25 percent capacity with patron groups limited to members of the same household only, outdoor rinks to re-open for casual sports and organized practices with individual instruction but no multi-team tournaments will be allowed, indoor sporting facilities such as rinks, gymnastic clubs , martial arts studios could re-open at 25 percent capacity, places of worship to hold regular services at 10 percent capacity or 50 people maximum whichever is lower, museums, art galleries and libraries to re-open at 25 percent capacity and personal services businesses to re-open at 25 percent capacity.

             

The province remains in the critical or red zone. The changes come into effect at 12:01 am Friday and last for three weeks. Complete details can be found on their website www.manitoba.ca/covid19.
