The Northern Neighbors Foundation is accepting applications for grants they make available each year. Their Chairperson Jane Robillard says the grants are available in the communities of Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach, Cranberry Portage, Snow Lake and Sherridon. She explains anybody that is a non-registered charity can apply and the grants can be in the fields of arts and culture, education, environment, health, heritage or recreation and sports so that covers a lot of groups in our community.
Information and application forms can be found on their website www.northernneighbors.com or call Jane at 204-687-6488 and will be accepted through the mail to Box 802, Flin Flon, R8A 1N6 or they can be sent by email to nnfdninc@mts.net. The deadline to apply is February 15th.
