Advice has been issued for Valentines Day.

Saskatchewan health reported 194 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon bringing the seven day average of daily new cases to 233.  They also reported eight additional deaths covering five zones including two in the Far North East.  Of the new cases 62 were in Regina, 49 in Saskatoon, and 26 in North West with lower numbers in other zones including six in Far North East.

             

Of the total 24,430 reported cases 2254 are considered active, 21,854 individuals have recovered and 194 are in hospital with 26 in intensive care.

             

For Valentine ’s Day public health does not recommend sharing gifts, chocolates or food in schools and at workplaces.  If you are sharing with close friends or loved ones give only individually wrapped unopened store bought treats and if sharing cards put them aside for 24 hours before handling.
