Creighton Town Council met earlier this week and carried a motion regarding Bylaw 1-2021 to establish rates for the supply and consumption of water and use of the sewer main collection and disposal system. The Environmental, Public Health and Environmental Development Committee recommended they tender to demolish two buildings obtained through tax enforcement which was also carried with tenders closing on February 23rd and the lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. The General Government Services Committee carried the recommendation to increase administration fees for Lotto license applications from five dollars to twenty five dollars effective this year. The Transportation, Utility Services and Landfill Committee carried the motion to transfer the old rescue truck diesel cab van to Public Works to use as a utility truck for transport of tools for work on broken and frozen lines.
