Around 1:10 last Thursday Flin Flon RCMP responded to a robbery at a financial institution on Main Street.  A man entered the business and demanded cash stating he had an explosive device in his bag and was carrying a firearm.  He stole cash, left his bag and fled on foot.  When RCMP attended they determined the bag did not contain an explosive device nor had anyone seen a firearm.

The RCMP later identified the suspect after talking with witnesses and the following morning Creighton RCMP arrested a male suspect at a residence in Denare Beach. Marcel Sewap of Flin Flon has been charged with robbery and uttering threats and was remanded into custody as RCMP continue to investigate.
