The Flin Flon and Creighton Recreation Departments are offering an intro to cross country skiing.  Creighton Recreation Director Channa Senyk says they are sponsoring ski equipment rental and trail fees from the Flin Flon Ski Club for families who wish to give cross country skiing a try.  She explains they are inviting people to bring their families and try out the sport of cross country skiing and all they need to do is give Dennis Whitbread a call and arrange for rental of the equipment they need and the trail permit fees as well.  She adds they are offering it for six weeks and hope the good weather keeps up and people get out and try a new sport and enjoy the winter.

You can call Dennis at 204-271-4522 and make sure you tell him it is under Flin Flon or Creighton Rec. They also recommend you download the TrailForks app so you will be able to pinpoint your location on the trail at any point in your ski.
