The owner and instructor at the Aqua Essence Swim Academy Rishona Hyman explains the Red Cross Babysitting Course is for youth ages eleven to 15 and is taught using Zoom with four two-hour classes

Hyman states participants will learn how to prevent and respond to emergencies, meet the needs of children of different ages, and promote themselves as a babysitter.

She says the online Red Cross classes were made possible thanks to the province’s Safe at Home Manitoba grant which allows her school to give free online babysitting courses to 370 Manitoba Children.
