The Daily Average of COVID-19 Cases Has Jumped in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan health reported 286 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon.  They also reported two additional deaths with one each in the Far North East and the North East zones.  Of the reported cases 63 are in North Central, 48 in Regina, 46 in the Far North East and 41 in Saskatoon with lower numbers in the other zones.

             

Of the 16,367 reported cases 3,027 are active, 13,180 individuals have recovered and 180 are in hospital with 35 in intensive care.  The seven day average of daily new cases is 209 up from 181 on Sunday.

             

Moderna vaccinations are beginning this week in the Far North West and Far North Central zones for eligible health care staff as well as long term and personal care home residents.
