Theres a call for business closures in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Health reported this afternoon 132 new cases of COVID-19.  They also reported another death a person in their 60s from the North East Zone.  That brings the total number of deaths to 32 and the total number of reported cases to 5553.  Of that total 2099 are considered active, 3422 people have recovered and 76 are in hospital with 17 in intensive care.  Of the new cases the largest numbers are still in Saskatoon with 56, Regina with 18 and North Central with 10. All other zones are in single digits including the Far North East with six.

             

The opposition NDP has called on the government to close non-essential businesses for three weeks but Premier Scott Moe dismissed calls to force places such as bars and gyms to close citing concern for job losses.
