The RCMP and Other Reports Were Part of a Recent Creighton Council Meeting.

Creighton Town Council held their regular meeting last week to discuss the latest community happenings. Before the meeting got underway with the swearing in of the recently re-elected Council RCMP Sergeant Chad McLeod relayed the community police report for October. The RCMP responded to 36 calls within the town with a total of 83 calls for service in the Creighton jurisdiction for the month.

Correspondence was reviewed including a request from the Flin Flon and District Chamber of Commerce for support funding to have sound capability for Christmas music on Main Street Flin Flon.  Funding partners include Hudbay, City of Flin Flon and CFAR. Council approved a motion to hire Austyn Davis and Alixandra Stevens as public skating supervisors for this season.  Ball diamond upgrades continue with Exact Fencing working two and a half days earlier this month and will be returning to do the dugouts.  Halloween Alley was a success with just over 15 hundred dollars donated as well as 24 donations of treats.
