Saskatchewan Hit A High in New COVID-19 Cases.

Saskatchewan Health reported this afternoon 190 new cases of COVID-19 which is a single day record for the province.  There are 76 new cases in Saskatoon, 25 in Regina, 19 in the North West, 15 each in North Central and Far North West zones with single digit numbers in other zones.  A person in their 80s has also died bringing the death toll since the start of the pandemic to 29.

             

Of the 4,087 total cases reported 1289 are considered active, 2769 people have recovered and 37 are in hospital with eight in intensive care.

             

Premier Scott Moe is to meet with health officials to discuss the situation but is not considering new restrictions.
