Manitoba Public Health reported over the weekend 712 new cases of COVID-19. The majority were in the Winnipeg Health Region with 474 and 34 reported in the Northern Health Region.  Ten additional deaths were also reported with all of them in the Winnipeg Health Region bringing the total number of deaths related to COVID-19 to 106.  From the total 8130 cases reported there are now 4849 active cases in the province, 3175 individuals have recovered, 173 are in hospital with 25 in intensive care.

Meanwhile Saskatchewan reported 275 new cases over the weekend spread across the province with the largest numbers in Saskatoon with 86 and Regina 62.  The Far North East reported 4 new cases. Three deaths were reported with one each in the Far North West, North East and Saskatoon zones bringing the total deaths in the province to 28.  Of the 3897 reported cases 1122 are considered active, 2747 people have recovered and 32 are in hospital with seven in intensive care.
