The Flin Flon Public Library has found a way to combat Covid 19 and make it more accessible for you to get your favorite books with the new program “ From The Library’s door to yours”. Library administrator Elizabeth Andres talks about how it will work.

" What this program is all about is,  during Covid many of the library patrons have not been able to access the library for many reasons . The major one being social distancing and they aren't able to travel with other community members. So what we are doing is: every Monday we are going to your door and dropping off books that you have phoned us and asked us to take out for you."

Andres also said the Flin Flon Public Library is one of 22 library’s across the country to qualify for funding courtesy of the Kimberly foundation. The library will keep this program going for 26 weeks depending on funding and people are already using it.
