The Flin Flon Legion, local branch 73 will be hosting their annual Remembrance Day Service next Wednesday starting around 10:45.

Due to Covid 19 the service will be a lot different this year including a limit of 20 people attending the service by invitation only, and a shorter service is expected.

President Bob Penner talks about a few more ways things will be different this year including  the amount of wreaths that will be laid and the order that they will be laid. There won't be a parade this year and no honor guard at the Cenotaph. The service has also been moved to the local branch on Hapnot street.

The service will be broadcast live on CFAR, flinflononline.com and streamed on the Legion facebook page. Guest speakers will be Father Paul and Albert Baines from the Salvation Army. Terry Smith will be the MC.
