City Council Meeting, November the 3rd

The City Of Flin Flon held their regular council meeting last night at Council Chambers.

 

Council swore in Barry Kreller who won the recent by-election and will take Guy Rideout’s position, after Rideout stepped down for personal reasons last Spring.

 

Kreller will finish out the term which will go til November of 2022. He has been appointed to the Social and Rec Committee’s and will be the City rep for the Recycling Centre.

 

Councillor Tim Babcock made a resolution that Inland Group be awarded the contract to supply the City Of Flin Flon with a 2021 Kenworth T370 Tandem truck and be it resolved the money will be expended from the Equipment Reserve Fund.

 

The City has been approached to support the Remembrance  Day Service at the Legion and Councillor Colleen Arnold said the City will be purchasing a wreath for the service.

 

Mayor Cal Huntley concluded by reminding everybody to stay safe and follow all the rules and protocols laid out by the health authorities and things will eventually get back to normal.
