Doyle Vermette Re-elected

 

The Saskatchewan Provincial election took place last night and the Saskatchewan Party won a majority government for the fourth straight term.

 

The NDP continue to be a stronghold in the North with Doyle Vermette the incumbent being elected for the third straight time. Voters re-elected Doyle with 2,460 votes. He defeated two other candidates including Darren Deshambeault of the Sask Party with 1,173 and Aaron Oochoo with the Saskatchewan Green Party with 111.

 

Vermette has represented the riding since 2008.
