Northland Ford in Flin Flon is supporting the Lords Bounty Food Bank and school snack programs with their Scare the Hunger Campaign.  Manager Allison Cooper says Scare the Hunger has supported the Food Bank in past years.  She explains they’re going to go ahead and collect non-perishable items and stuff for the Food Bank and they’ve been really successful with it the last couple of years but this year they’re going to help out the schools as well so Ruth Betts and McIsaac.  She adds they have snacks and breakfast programs so they’re going to team up with Ford as well as Hapnot and they’re going to try to get some donations for them as well so anything pre-packaged like Bear Paws and stuff like that, zip lock bags, anything that is nut free and they make a lot of toast and stuff in the morning so jam and things like that.

Scare the Hunger runs until the end of the month.  You can drop off donations at Northland Ford at 148 Green Street or call them for pick up at 204-687-3940.
