The Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corp starts a new training year tonight.  Captain Daryl Wilkinson says they are offering their training while following COVID-19 protocols.  He explains Cadets is a youth organization for kids from 12 to 19 years of age and they promote citizenship, physical fitness and develop an interest in the Canadian Armed Forces.  He says some of their activities include map reading, outdoor camping and stuff like that.

The Army Cadets parade most Monday evenings at the Flin Flon Community Hall from 7 to 9 and any young people interested can drop in.  They also have a one day activity sometime during a weekend each month.
