Creighton Town Council met last week and received the September community police report from the RCMP. It was a busy month responding to 91 calls for service with 16 calls for the Town of Creighton. The General Government Services Committee recommended that Creighton Community Club receive additional monetary support of ten thousand dollars due to COVID-19 as well as covering the cost for security cameras. This motion was accepted. The Recreation, Culture and Tourism Committee made a motion that the Sportex ice be put in for user groups adhering to safe practices following Saskatchewan Health protocols also hiring seasonal arena workers Brent Stephanson, Brett Ferguson and Brandt Moore for the upcoming season. This motion was accepted.
