Close Contacts Are Still a Concern In Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Health reported 40 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon.  There are seven each in Far North East, Regina and Saskatoon, eight in North Central, six in Far North West, two in Central East, and one each in North West, Central West and South Central zones.  Two cases were deemed out of province so the total reported cases is now 2270 with 299 considered active, 1946 people have recovered and nine are in hospital with two in intensive care.

23 of the new cases have been linked to close contacts or gatherings. Latest data indicates 79 individuals in multiple communities have tested positive with links to the Gospel Worship event in Prince Albert including case contacts of attendees.  At least 250 contacts have been part of the contact investigation relative to this super spreader event.
