Personal Contacts are Increasing COVID-19 Cases in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Health reported 33 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon.  There were eight each in Saskatoon and Central east, seven in Regina, three in the Far Northwest, two each in Far North East, North Central and North East and one in South Central zone.  One case location is still pending.  Of the new cases 25 are the result of contact to known cases and/or gatherings.

             

Of the total 2232 reported cases 271 are considered active, 1936 people have recovered and eight are in hospital with two in intensive care.

             

Effective tomorrow in Saskatchewan the maximum allowable gathering size for private gatherings in the home will be15 down from 30.
