The City of Flin Flon, Town of Creighton and Village of Denare Beach are Sponsoring a Halloween Alley Trick or Treat at their respective halls October 31st from 2 to 4. Flin Flon Recreation Coordinator Caitlin Bailey says any resident or business can donate treats to their community event or make a monetary donation to purchase treats. She explains what they are doing is kind of running an indoor trick or treat station so there will be multiple stations with some activities between the stations and it won’t be a long come and stay event but something fun to be able to come out and do with your family. She adds if anybody’s interested in donations you’re more than welcome to as they know some people aren’t comfortable with trick or treating this year and some people live at the lake where they don’t get trick or treaters and they are still interested in partaking.
To donate contact Cait at 204-681-7542, Channa at 306-688-3538 or Mel at 306-362-2050 and you will be given a sign to hang in your window saying you gave to Halloween Alley. This event will follow all COVID-19 protocols.
