Three More Deaths Related to COVID-19 Were Reported in Manitoba While New Cases Continue in Saskatchewan.

Manitoba Public Health reported this afternoon the 28th, 29th and 30th deaths related to COVID-19.  They were a woman in her 80s and another in her 70s linked to the outbreak at Parkview Place and a woman in her 80s linked to Heritage Lodge all in Winnipeg.

             

They also reported 84 new cases of COVID-19 with 64 in the Winnipeg Health Region, 12 in Interlake-Eastern Health, seven in Southern Health and one in the Prairie Mountain Health Region.  Total cases reported stands at 2428 with 933 active, 1464 individuals have recovered and 25 are in hospital with six in intensive care.

             

Meanwhile Saskatchewan Health reported 22 new cases of COVID-19 this afternoon. There are five new cases in the Saskatoon zone, four each in North Central and Central East, three in Central West, and two each in the Far North East, Regina and South Central zones.  Of the total 2,034 cases reported 139 are considered active, 1871 people have recovered and eight are in hospital with two in intensive care.
