Flin Flon MLA Tom Lindsey says there was absolutely nothing for the north with no talk about resource development or fixing health care in the north. He says there are some concerns about the things they did talk about.  He explains all of it is leading to more privatization noting we’ve seen what they’ve done with Hydro selling off parts of it.  He says they’re going to start looking at privatizing more liquor sales for example, they’re going to look at privatizing road repairs and snow plowing so all of those things become more expensive and you get less service.

Lindsey added the NDP presented an alternative Throne Speech the day before dealing with child care, health care, hydro rates, small business support none of which were mentioned in the throne speech.
