As part of Culture Days this month the Flin Flon Arts Council is sharing an interview on Metis history.  The Councils Crystal Kolt spoke with local resident Ron Burwash in recognition of Manitoba’s 150^th anniversary. She says he is connected to all the who’s who of Metis Heritage, Louis Riel, Jean Baptiste Lagimodiere, Cuthbert Grant as is his wife and Kolt thought it was really important to talk about and remember that because we have this person of heritage in our community and he played hockey with Bob Clark and Reggie Leach so that’s really interesting as well so he’s a really important person in our community and she’s really happy to feature him as a Culture Days event this year.
