New Cases of COVID-19 Numbers Remain Low in Saskatchewan as Testing Increases.

Over Saturday and Sunday Saskatchewan Health reported 34 new cases of COVID-19.  Sixteen were in Saskatoon, ten in Central East, six in Regina and one in North Central zones.  This afternoon they reported 14 new cases with 7 in Central East, three each in Regina and Saskatoon and one in the Far North West zone. Of the 1892 reported cases 149 are considered active, 1719 people have recovered and eight are in hospital.  Public Health continues to investigate recent cases in Yorkton with initial investigation suggesting the most recent cases may share a common source of exposure at a fitness facility.

             

They also note on Friday 2984 COVID-19 tests were performed which is the highest daily number of tests performed to date.
