Indications are Travel Led to an Increase in COVID-19 Cases in the Saskatoon Zone.

Saskatchewan Health reported 11 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday and 20 on Sunday.  The largest numbers were in the Regina zone with 15 and Saskatoon zone which reported 10 related to the workplace out break previously identified as Brandt Industries with indications these are related to out of province travel        They reported seven new cases this afternoon with five in the Saskatoon zone and one each in the Regina and South East zones.  The total reported cases stands at 1814 with 145 considered active, 1645 people have recovered and ten are in hospital.

             

You are reminded that in Saskatchewan there can be very serious consequences for not following Public Health Orders such as limiting gatherings to 30 people with two meter spacing including fines that may be two thousand dollars for individuals and ten thousand for corporations plus a victim charge.
