Two More Deaths Related to COVID-19 Have Been Reported in Manitoba.

Manitoba Public Health reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 Saturday and 29 Sunday.  36 of these cases were in the Winnipeg Health Region.

             

This afternoon Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin reported 22 new cases bringing the total number of cases to 1608.  He announced a 17th and 18th death related to COVID-19 a man in his 80s from Southern Health and a female in her 80s from Prairie Mountain Health. He adds there’s one new case in Prairie Mountain Health, three in Southern Health and 16 in the Winnipeg Health Region.

             

Of the 1608 reported case 363 are considered active, 1227 people have recovered and eight people are in hospital with two in intensive care.
