The annual Manitoba Rural and Northern Juried Art Show is underway online this year. Marketing Coordinator for the Manitoba Arts Network Nicole Shimonek explains artists were asked to submit digital versions of their work. She says they had a call for submissions and they actually received over 120 submissions so from there they had a team of jurors select between eight and twelve from each region and the artists were notified that their art was selected and then they provided all the information needed for their online gallery.
You can now vote for your favorite art work from the six regions in the province including for local area artists in the Northern region online at www.artgallery.manitobaartsnetwork.ca until October 20th.
