Saskatchewan Saw a Bit of a Jump in COVID-19 Cases Due to Travel.

Saskatchewan Health reported this afternoon ten new cases of COVID-19.  There were six new cases reported in the Saskatoon region, two in Central West and one each in North Central and South Central zones.  That brings the provincial total of reported cases to 1634. 36 of the cases are considered active, 1574 people have recovered and two are in hospital with one in intensive care.

They point out that all of Saskatoon’s current cases and several of the active cases in the rest of the province are directly related to out of province travel and remind you that non-essential interprovincial travel is not recommended at this time.
