At their meeting last night Flin Flon City Council reported voters will be going to the polls October 28th to elect a City Councilor. It will be for a term running from November 2020 to October 2022. Candidate registration will take place at City Hall during regular business hours from 1 to 4 pm starting today until September 22nd. Measures recommended by the province to hold a byelection will be followed with all voting done at City Hall on October 28th from 8am to 8pm with four stations properly spaced, hand sanitizers, wearing masks recommended and six foot distancing. Mail in voting can take place by applying to the Senior Election Official no later than three days before the byelection.
