On their way

Sixteen students and four teachers from Creighton Community School are leaving today to join fifteen thousand other students and teachers in Saskatoon to celebrate We Day which brings youth together to show them they are not alone in their journey to make a difference.  Grade nine student Morgan Switzer says it will feature a performance by Hedley and many speakers including guest speaker Marin Sheen.  She says it seems like a really awesome motivational positive environment and experience to be involved with and be part of and the main thing she is looking forward to will obviously be the speakers and performers but more just the positive environment and being in a place where everyone is aware, wants to be supportive and wants to be involved in things.

We Day is an initiative of Free the Children which is a international charity and education partner that works with schools by offering curricular resources, campaigns and material to help turn the days inspiration into sustained action.
