After Two Cases in the Last Report Manitoba is Back to Reporting No New Cases of COVID-19 While Saskatchewan Reports Two More Cases.

Manitoba Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin announced the latest COVID-19 numbers this afternoon.  He reported there are now new cases, total cases remain at 294, there are no cases in hospital or ICU, 273 individuals are reported as recovered and there are 14 active cases.

Roussin adds the rate of positive cases continues to be quite low so the province can continue with its reopening plans as Manitobans continue to take precautions adding they continue to look at the timing of phase three of the program.

Saskatchewan reports two new cases both in the south bringing their total to 641.  61 cases are considered active, two more people have recovered bringing that total to 570 and four people are in hospital with two in intensive care. Saskatchewan will be implementing their phase three re-open plan on June 8th with the most up to date version of the plan available at www.saskatchewan.ca/re-open.
