Manitoba and Saskatchewan Have Both Seen Two New Cases of COVID-19.

Manitoba Public Health reported this afternoon two new cases of COVID-19 have been identified.  This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Manitoba to 294.  No individuals are in hospital or intensive care, the number of deaths remains at seven, there are 14 active cases and 273 individuals have recovered.

             

Officials remind you on Monday Manitoba will enter into Phase Two of the Restoring Safe Services Plan.  Information including workplace guidance for businesses can be found at www.manitoba.ca/restoringsafeservices.

 

             

Saskatchewan also reported two new cases of COVID-19 bringing the provincial total to 639.  61 cases are considered active, nine more people have recovered bringing that total to 568, four people are currently in hospital with three in intensive care and deaths remain at 10.

             

Saskatchewan’s provincial state of emergency has been extended for two weeks and public health orders remain in effect including limiting public and private gatherings to no more than ten people.
