Students Needing Help Can Soon Go Back to School by Appointment.

With classes officially cancelled for the year in Manitoba Flin Flon School Division has plans to help students.  They announced classroom learning will remain suspended for the remainder of the school year with remote learning continuing.  However starting Monday schools will be open to staff and specific programs for the purpose of assessments, clinical supports and planning.  Students will be able to come into the school by appointment only with parents or students scheduling times for their child to come and meet with teachers or clinicians by calling or emailing the teacher or clinician.  As well teachers or clinicians may reach out to parents to have students attend for assessment or support.  Parents will have to screen students for illness prior to them being accepted at the school.

Remote learning will wind down with the last work packages sent home the week of June 8th with the last day for remote learning June 12th and work returned to the schools the week of June 15th to 19th.  Final report cards will be mailed out June 30th for Ruth Betts and McIsaac Schools with High School report cards available through the Parent Portal or in the mail if you contact the school.
