The Spread of COVID-19 in Manitoba Continues to be at a Standstill While Another Death has Been Reported in Saskatchewan.

Public Health Officials reported this afternoon no new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Manitoba.  The total number of cases remains at 292, no individuals are in hospital or intensive care, the number of deaths remains at seven, there are 16 active cases and 269 individuals have recovered.

             

Public Health reminds you as of May 22nd gathering size limits were increased to 25 people indoors and 50 outdoors with proper physical distancing while professional sports teams were allowed to return to their training facilities as long as precautions were taken and the public is not allowed in those facilities.

Saskatchewan reports an eighth death a resident in their 50s from the Far North Region while an additional death is currently under investigation.  They reported no new cases so the provincial total remains at 634, 77 cases are considered active, three more people have recovered bringing the provincial total to 549 and five people are in hospital with three in intensive care.
