What Images Come to Mind When You Think About COVID-19 Quarantine?

Local photographer Noelle Drimmie and artist Karen Clark have received a grant from the Manitoba Arts Council.  Drimmie says they want to use it to create a COVID-19 quarantine inspired gallery of images.  She explains they’re essentially trying to create a time capsule of images of what quarantine and COVID-19 has been like for residents of the north so anything that sort of has a COVID-19 or quarantine theme in the image or even in the title just so when we look back on the images we sort of remember what life was like or what we were feeling or thinking during this time and it doesn’t have to be something made during quarantine, it could be just a piece of art you’ve done before but now has new meaning during quarantine.

You`re asked to submit a high resolution image of your work to noelledrimmie@gmail.com and if you need help also contact Noelle. Selected works will be printed in the Reminder as well as on large format posters in shops along Main Street, the Norva Centre and Johnny’s Social Club.
