Two New Cases of COVID-19 Have Been Reported in Manitoba and Five in Saskatchewan.

Manitoba Public Health Officials advised today two new cases of COVID-19 have been identified bringing the total number of cases reported in the province to 292. There are now 18 active cases and 267 individuals have recovered, one individual is in hospital with none in intensive care and the number of deaths remains at 7.

             

Testing for COVID-19 is still not recommended for Manitobans who do not have symptoms associated with the virus.  For more information and to access the online screening tool visit www.manitoba.ca/covid19.

 

             

Saskatchewan reported five new confirmed cases bringing the provincial total to 627 with four of the new cases in the Far North.  Of the total cases 99 are considered active, 12 more people have recovered bringing that total to 521.  Five people are in hospital with three in intensive care and seven deaths have been reported so far.
