After going since Wednesday with no new cases Manitoba Public Health reported one new case today.  That bring the total number of reported cases to 290, one individual is in hospital with one in intensive care, there are 26 active cases with 257 individuals reported as recovered with the number of deaths remaining at seven.  As of Saturday 487 additional laboratory tests were performed bringing the total number of tests since early February to just over 35 thousand.  Anyone with symptoms can use the online screening tool at www.manitoba.ca/covid19 to determine whether they meet the criteria to be tested.

              Saskatchewan reported no new cases today keeping the provincial total at 592.  131 cases are considered active, eleven more people have recovered bringing the provincial total to 455.  Five people are in hospital with three in intensive care, and six deaths related to COVID -19 have been reported to date.  If you are experiencing symptoms you can take the online assessment at www.saskatchewan.ca/covid19
