There Were Low Numbers of COVID-19 Cases Reported in Manitoba and Saskatchewan Over the Weekend.

After reporting no new cases of COVID-19 since Wednesday Manitoba Public Health again reported no new cases Sunday and Saturday.  The total number of cases reported in Manitoba continues to be 289, two individuals are in hospital with one in intensive care, there are 25 active cases and 257 individuals are reported as recovered and the number of deaths remains at seven. 

             

In Saskatchewan there was one confirmed case reported on Saturday and one Sunday.  Of the 592 reported cases 142 are considered active, eleven more people have recovered bringing the provincial total to 444, five people are in hospital with three in intensive care.  The new case Sunday is in the Far North Region bringing its total to 219 cases.

             

Even with these low numbers in both provinces public health reminds you to continue physical distancing practices.
