COVID-19 Numbers Continue to Hold Steady in Manitoba.

 

 Manitoba Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin announced the latest COVID-19 numbers this afternoon. He reports there are no new cases so the total number of cases remains at 289, three individuals are hospitalized with one in intensive care, 254 individuals are listed as recovered and there are 28 active cases.

             

Roussin reminds you do not go out if you are ill even with mild symptoms, stay home and seek health care if required.  The testing centres across the north will be closed on Monday reopening on Tuesday.

 

 

Saskatchewan reported eight new confirmed cases bringing the total to 590.  All of the new cases are in the Far North with 5 in La Loche and 3 in Beauval bringing the region to 218.  176 cases are considered active and ten more people have recovered bringing the provincial total to 408.  Nine people are in hospital with three in intensive care.
