An Advisory Board Will Assist the Manitoba Government in Recovering Economically From COVID-19.

Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister has announced the establishment of the new Premier’s Economic Opportunities Advisory Board.  He says this group will draw on their experiences, strengths, their skills to focus on unleashing private sector capital and investments to recover jobs and growth, to foster entrepreneurship and small business start ups and technology growth, to establish and maintain collaboration networks and market intelligence among businesses, government and communities that support trade and investment in job creation and to identify opportunities to transform government policies, programs, regulations and services to better support a faster recovery throughout our economy.

             

The 18 member Board is made up of leaders in sectors including business, technology, financial services and training and will have a mandate of 18 months.
