Plans Have Been Developed for the End of This and the Next School Year.

The Flin Flon School Board met for a virtual meeting Tuesday.  Superintendent Tammy Ballantyne reported the Division will continue to help out families with their nutritional needs during school closures.  If you require additional help contact your child’s school.  The proposed calendar for the 20-21 school year has been submitted to the Department of Education although there may be changes due to COVID-19.  The proposed calendar can be viewed on the Division’s website.

             

June 8th the last work packages for K to 8 will be available.  June 17th is the latest date to have the completed work returned. For high school students the last day of classes will be on June12th.  The following week will be for collecting and marking submitted work.

             

Secretary Treasurer Heather Fleming reported the Public Schools Finance Board has approved the Hapnot and McIsaac roof projects to proceed as planned for this year.  As well Flin Flon Bomber Reid Robertson has received the RBC and SJHL Community Ambassador Award.  Robertson directed his donation to Ruth Betts toward a new playground structure.
