Reported Manitoba COVID-19 Numbers Went Up By Two This Afternoon.

Manitoba Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin announced the latest COVID-19 numbers this afternoon.  He reported there are two new cases so the total number of cases is now 289, four individuals are hospitalized with one in intensive care, 247 individuals are listed as recovered and there are 35 active cases.

             

Roussin reported over the weekend two additional cases were added to the workplace cluster in the Prairie Mountain Health Region bringing the total to ten cases.  He also noted their daily briefings will be reduced to three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

 

Saskatchewan reported only four new confirmed cases bringing the provincial total to 568 with all of the new cases in the Far North at La Loche bringing the Far North to 197 cases.  Of the total 199 are considered active, 14 more people have recovered bringing the provincial total to 363 and 11 people are in hospital with three in intensive care.
