There Has Been Praise for Support Workers in Northern Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Lieutenant Governor Russ Mirasty has released a statement for residents of Northern Saskatchewan in light of the current outbreaks of COVID-19 in northern communities.  He states he and his wife Donna extend their sincere condolences to the families who recently lost elders to the virus noting they appreciate the role that elders have within our families and communities and their passing is heartbreaking.  He acknowledges and thanks all of the front line healthcare workers, police officers, EMTs and all the people behind the scenes who are working to support these service providers.  He also thanks community leaders for their leadership during this difficult time and the volunteers who have stepped forward to help.

Mirasty adds all of these people are doing the best they can and to make their job a little easier we all need to do our part by staying home and keeping our families and communities safe.
