Sixteen students and four teachers from Creighton Community School will join fifteen thousand other students and teachers at Credit Union Center in Saskatoon February 27th to celebrate We Day which brings youth together to show them they are not alone in their journey to make a difference.
We Day is an initiative of Free the Children, an international charity and education partner that works with schools to implement the We Day Act Program which offers curricular resources, campaigns and material to help turn the days inspiration into sustained action. The day will feature celebrities, musicians and heroes sharing their inspirational stories.
Students were selected through an application process that included a written application, an interview or video outlining why they should be selected.
