Manitoba is Investing Additional Money in Infrastructure.

Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister announced yesterday the government is increasing its investment in the provincial ReStart Program.  He explains their Manitoba ReStart Program is going to see an additional 500 million dollar investment over the next two years in shovel worthy infrastructure projects to help stimulate our economy.  He points out some of these projects will include the categories of water and sewer projects through the Municipal Water Services Board, road and highway resurfacing and repairs, bridge repairs, municipal infrastructure priorities and cost sharing projects with other levels of government.

             

Pallister noted specific projects will start to be delivered in coming weeks adding it expands on the already planned infrastructure investment of three billion dollars over the next two years.
