There Was No Increase in COVID-19 Cases Reported in Manitoba Today.

Manitoba Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin announced the latest COVID-19 numbers this afternoon. He reported there are no new cases but there’s been one probable case that has now been ruled as negative so the total number is now 283, five individuals are currently hospitalized with none in intensive care, 243 individuals are tested as recovered and there are 33 active cases.

Roussin commented on the cluster of cases found in the Prairie Mountain Health Region noting the current case count is still seven adding the precautions the workplace took in breaking employees into small groups as they worked limited the spread.

Saskatchewan reported today 19 new confirmed cases bringing the provincial total to 531. 15 of the new cases are in the Far North with 12 of those in the La Loche area.  196 of the total cases are considered active and 17 more people have recovered bringing the provincial total to 329.
